KEN RUEGG
VICTIMIZED BY MILLIONS
POWER AND CORRUPTION
The British historian LORD ACTON'S famous observation, "Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely!", resulted from an understanding of History, which was based upon a study of the actions of "great men" having "criminal" minds. Such leaders obtain and use power to achieve criminal goals! Acton mistakenly saw power itself as the source of the problem, which is like seeing cigarette lighters as the source of arson! "Criminal" minds are the source. "Non-criminal" minds use power for constructive purposes.

A young George Washington was characterized as having confessed to his father, that he had "chopped down the cherry tree", while Abraham Lincoln was nicknamed, "Honest Abe". Citizens value honesty in their government leaders. Dishonesty is victimization, which is the defining characteristic of "criminal" mind. Criminals in power will always be opposed by non-criminals.                                                                                                                                                                                                   See "ON POWER AND AUTHORITY", and "CRIMINALS AND CRIMINAL CULTURES - THE TACTICS OF DECEIT", the last 2 items under "about".
