VICTIMIZED BY MILLIONS
ALLEGORIES REPRESENTING EVOLUTION OF MIND
THE PRESENCE, SINCE CIVILIZATION, OF TWO SPECIES OF MIND in Man, the "criminal", and the "non-criminal", and the fact that further mental evolution favors the predominance of "non-criminal" mind, and the eventual total absence in humans of the "criminal" mind-type, has been expressed in numerous instances by myth and allegory: THE LAST JUDGEMENT, representing the triumph of good over evil, irregardless of the issue of its literal validity, is also an allegorical expression of Evolution of Mind, which favors the success of "civilized" mind, and the extinction of "criminal" mind. THE JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES quoting the Bible verse saying, "... and the lion shall lie down with the lamb...", the Bible verse quoted at the entrance to the UNITED NATIONS, "...and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, neither shall they make war, any longer...", and numerous other examples, abound. MYTH AND ALLEGORY are used extensively in Hebrew and Christian biblical texts, and even when interpreted literally, reveal great truths beyond the literal. Creation myths such as those found in The Book of Genesis, are not really about how the world was created, but about God doing the creating! THE CONCEPT OF THE MESSIAH, and THE "GREAT MAN" THEORY OF HISTORY, express an awareness of, and reliance upon, "CIVILIZED" MINDS of extraordinary ability, by Humanity. AUDIENCES LOVED "STAR WARS", because most people attending such movies sense the "rightness" of an idea. It is what they want, and like to see. They desire the triumph of "civilized" mind over "criminal" mind. They are in touch with their own evolution, and their success as a species, although most are unaware of continuing Evolution of Mind, as such, in Man. RECOGNITION of "non-criminal" and "criminal" mind in religion, is not limited to Judaism, Christianity, and Islam (God and Satan being ultimate spiritual embodiments of good and evil): in Hinduism, Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva are primary gods, Shiva being titled "The Destroyer" ("criminal" mind is always intent upon doing damage); Tibetan Buddhism likewise has both destructive, and non-destructive deities.
